Hojjat al-Islam Navvab: Disavowal of Pagans Rooted in History of Prophets and Divine Religions
In the ceremony of disavowal of pagans of Hajj 1402, head of Iranian pilgrims said that the Zionist regime is the "hand" of America for infanticide and crime.
According to Hajj Information Base, speaking on Tuesday (Tir 6) in the crowd of thousands of pilgrims participating in the ceremony of disavowal of pagans of Hajj 1402 in the desert of Arafat, Hojjat al-Islam Seyed Abdolfattah Navvab stressed that disavowal of pagans is not a new issue and it is rooted in the history of prophets and religions.
"Throughout history, all believers declared their hatred and disgust for the groups of pagans, hypocrites, and infidels, who in fact formed the group of the arrogant," he said.
The head of the Iranian pilgrims further said that in several verses of the Holy Qur'an, the disavowal of pagans is emphasized, adding that there is no prayer that a believer prays without disavowal of pagans. "The straight path is the way of Muslims, not the way of those who are subject to God's wrath, which are the Zionist child-killing regime and the aggressor America."
Hojjat al-Islam Navvab while dismissing the claim that the disavowal of pagans is a new issue said that every prophet who announced the mission had four groups in front of him. There was a group of believers who were with the Prophet. The other three groups formed the ranks of pagans, infidels and hypocrites, all of whom are cursed and hated.
The Supreme Leader's Representative by stating that "which sane person in the world of humanity can be a supporter of the usurping and illogical Zionist child-killing regime?"
"Every day that passes, a Palestinian's house is destroyed and a Palestinian family is displaced. This oppression is done by the arrogant of the world, America, and its hand, the Zionist regime," he added.
He referred to the words of the infallible imams regarding the disavowal of pagans and said that the infallible imams have emphasized in their statements which believer believes in God but does not disavow from the pagans.
The head of Iranian pilgrims also referred to a statement by Imam Sadeq (AS), and said that he said that faith in God is realized when one is free from pagans and enemies of God.
In the end, he addressed the audience and said, "We thank God many times for the presence in the land where we have faith, belief and confidence that Hazrat Mehdi (AS) is present and in the meeting that we have been waiting for for years, he has made it a day for all our dear ones."
"We honor the presence of believers together with the pioneers of Jihad and the virtues of veterans , scholars and clerics, representatives of the great authorities of Taqlid, the devoted, faithful and faithful people of Islamic Iran in the desert of Arafat," Hojjat al-Islam Navvab added.
In the continuation of this magnificent ceremony, the message of Grand Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei, the Supreme Leader, to the pilgrims of Baitullah al-Haram was read by Hojjat al-Islam Navvab.
